Niuland Officials Deliver Flood Aid to Anato Families

Kohima: Niuland district authorities rushed aid to Anato village on September 15. Flooding hammered the area recently. Eight families received immediate relief assistance to help them recover from the surge. The Kuhuboto Sub-Division led the operation.

SDO (Civil) Nuhuta Tunyi personally distributed the support. He worked alongside the District Project Associate from the District Disaster Management Authority in Niuland. This aid effort falls under the administration's broader mission to assist locals displaced or damaged by the weather. The State DIPR reported that the relief was handed out on September 15, noting it was part of the "administration's efforts to support families affected by the recent flooding in the area."
