Guwahati: A student suffered a head injury at Imperial Academy Senior Secondary School in Bormar, Nagaon. The child fell on school grounds. Teachers stood by. They did not call for help or tell the parents.
The father discovered the injury when he arrived to pick up his son after classes. He demanded answers. The school staff offered a cold response. The father claimed that teachers and management committee members told him, "arranging medical treatment was not their responsibility."
The parents rushed the boy to a hospital. Doctors gave him two stitches. The father then marched to the Samaguri Police Station to file a formal complaint. He is seeking action against the school for their negligence. The school has stayed silent. Officials have not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
