NIT Agartala Announces 51 Non-Teaching Vacancies

Agartala: The National Institute of Technology Agartala is hiring. The school needs 51 non-teaching professionals to fill vacant roles in 2026. Applicants must submit their details through the official portal at https://www.nita.ac.in. The online system opens at 10 AM on September 20, 2026. It closes at 5 PM on October 20, 2026.

Positions include 14 Technicians, 9 Senior Technicians, 8 Lab Attendants, and 7 Technical Assistants. The school also seeks 5 Junior Engineers in Civil or Electrical disciplines, 5 Library and Information Assistants, 2 SAS Assistants, and 1 Pharmacist.

Educational requirements vary by role. Technical Assistants need a first-class B.E., B.Tech, or MCA. Junior Engineers require a first-class B.E. or B.Tech degree or diploma. Library and Information Assistants must hold a bachelor's degree in science, arts, or commerce plus a degree in library science. SAS Assistant candidates need a first-class bachelor's degree in physical education and a strong background in extracurricular activities. Pharmacists must be registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948 and hold a diploma or degree in pharmacy. Technicians and Senior Technicians require specific combinations of 10+2 science marks, ITI certificates, or engineering diplomas. Lab Attendants need a 10+2 science qualification.
