Shillong: The Meghalaya High Court is hunting for staff to fill four open administrative positions in 2026. The court wants to hire one Stenographer Grade-I, one Legal Assistant, one Library Assistant, and one Driver.
Applicants for the Stenographer role need a bachelor degree, a diploma in stenography, and a typing speed of 50 words per minute. The post pays Rs. 49,000 at Level-16. Legal Assistant candidates must hold a law degree and will earn Rs. 43,700 under Level-14 of the 5th Meghalaya Pay matrix.
The Library Assistant job requires a degree or diploma in library science and computer skills. The position offers a monthly pay of Rs. 24,700. Drivers need an SSLC pass, a valid license for light and transport vehicles, and three years of experience. The pay for this role sits at Rs. 20,600.
