Imphal: The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development in Imphal is hiring. They need a Senior Research Fellow for a project titled, "Living Loops: Engineering an Edible Algae -Mushroom Symbiosis for Self-Sustaining Space Ecosystems." The Department of Biotechnology is funding this work in 2026.
The position pays 42,000 rupees monthly plus 9 percent HRA. Applicants must hold an M.Tech in fields like Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or Industrial Microbiology. Candidates with an M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Microbiology also qualify. Experience with algae, fungi, and bioprocess engineering is preferred.
