Government workers faced new requirements. The Administrative Training Institute kicked off mandatory foundation training for Directorate Ministerial Staff Services on July 13. This one-month program follows a July 10, 2026, memorandum from the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. The curriculum covers IT, finance, and legal matters. Participants finish three weeks of classes before a final exam week. The initiative stems from Rule 8 of the Nagaland Directorate Ministerial Service Rules, 2025.
In the political arena, Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir met with Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav. They discussed state welfare before Jamir left for the Monsoon Parliament session.
