Kihoto Theological College celebrates cultural diversity in Shamator

Kohima: Kihoto Theological College held a Cultural Day on August 12. The event took place at the campus in Yakor Village, Shamator. Operated by the Yimkhiung Baptist Borü Amukhongto, the college hosted the gathering under the theme Embracing Similarities, Celebrating Differences.

S Keoshu Yimchunger, Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, attended as the special guest. He praised the college administration for putting the program together. He noted that the institution currently houses students from eight different tribes. He called this diversity a clear sign of the college's development.

The Advisor pushed students to protect their heritage regardless of their future jobs. Yimchunger told the crowd, "Nagas should embrace and preserve all cultures irrespective of tribes, noting that people are related in various ways." He urged the attendees to keep practicing the virtues of their ancestors, specifically honesty, simplicity, hard work, and respect for their elders.
