Tetso College Claims Top Prize at Nagaland Influencers Summit

Kohima: Tetso College dominated the Nagaland Influencers Summit Pow-woW Lore 2026: Youth Quill & Canvas. The school took home the overall championship title. St Joseph College, Jakhama, finished as the runner-up. The festival ended September 11 at the Amphitheatre in Chümoukedima.

About 900 people attended the closing ceremony. Participants, faculty, and guests gathered to celebrate literature and art. Avungthung C Kikon hosted the show. The event began with the college anthem followed by a prayer from Talinungsang, Assistant Dean of the School of Computer Science and Skill Development.

Principal Dr. Hewasa L Khing thanked the crowd for their hard work. Guest of Honour Nise Meruno, an international concert pianist, took the stage. He offered the students a piece of advice: "Your art can only be as beautiful as your heart." He emphasized sincerity and soul before playing 'Kiss the Rain'.

The day included a cultural heritage walk and a cosplay showcase. Dr. Asenla Yanger, the event convenor, announced the final winners. Tetso College dominated the leaderboard with wins in the debate, painting, and talent showdown. Other victors included Eastern Christian College for the poetry slam and NEISSR for indigenous storytelling. Guwahati University took the cosplay trophy. St Joseph University won the sustainability hackathon.
