Guwahati: Morigaon District Commissioner Srishti Singh held a review meeting on August 20 to address the slow construction of a new Model Anganwadi Centre. The project stalled. Singh pressed her team for immediate results.

Key district officials attended the session, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nilakhi Baishya. The District Social Welfare Officer, various Child Development Project Officers, and Block Development Officers also joined the meeting.

Singh scrutinized the current site progress and listed all outstanding technical issues. She demanded that officials clear these hurdles quickly. "Ensure the early and timely completion of the Model Anganwadi Centre," Singh stated during the briefing. Staff must now resolve all pending tasks to keep the build on track.
