Guwahati: Moriani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi visited Gauhati Medical College and Hospital to pledge his organs. He wants to boost awareness for the campaign titled "Organ Donation, Gift of Life."
The initiative pushes citizens to sign up for life-saving transplants. Leaders must set the example. Manas Pratim Mahanta, an executive member of the Assam Yuva Morcha, joined the effort. He finished his own registration paperwork while Kurmi looked on. Both men hope their public commitment encourages others to take the same step.
The hospital event ended with the formal signing of these pledges. Every organ donation serves as a real chance to improve or save the lives of others.
