This tech uses three-dimensional visuals and precise tools to work through tiny incisions. Patients suffer less discomfort and bounce back quicker than they would with old-school surgery.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the team on X. He called the feat a "significant moment for the state’s public healthcare sector." The government wants to turn the hospital into a top-tier medical hub. Plans are already in motion to boost infrastructure and start a cardiac transplant program. Officials expect this new capability to stop patients from having to leave the region for high-end care.
