Agartala: Minister Sudhangshu Das held a district review Tuesday at the Belonia Circuit House Conference Hall. He met with officials from the Animal Resource Development Department, the Fisheries Department, and the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department to push for faster project rollouts. The session tracked government schemes for the 2026-27 financial year. Officials checked if aid reached citizens on time.
Das spoke to reporters after the meeting. He stated, "We are committed to delivering government services efficiently and ensuring that schemes reach the grassroots without delay." He wants faster work.
The Minister also visited the Agni Veena Community Hall for the District Level National Science Seminar 2026. The South Tripura District Education Department ran the event. Das told the students and teachers that they need to build a scientific mindset. He thinks the seminar will help students unlock their hidden potential.
His day finished at the District Veterinary Hospital for a birth control and anti-rabies vaccination event. He talked about the state's push for animal welfare and pet owner responsibility. "We remain dedicated to ensuring accessible and better veterinary healthcare for our voiceless companions," he said. The visit signals a focus on both human services and public health in South Tripura.
