Guwahati: Cabinet Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah gathered BJP members at the Mahendra Hazarika Bhawan in Raha to sharpen the party election strategy. The Nagaon Lok Sabha seat sits empty, and the coming by-election promises a hard fight. Grassroots workers and karyakartas filled the hall.

Baruah assessed the party readiness for the contest. He praised the local team during the session. "The enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the grassroots workers were encouraging," Baruah said. He noted their strong link to the people and their loyalty to the party machine.

The minister trusts the current organizational setup. He ordered continued engagement with voters to ensure a win. The party aims for a coordinated effort to secure the seat.
