Guwahati: Assam Agriculture and Irrigation Minister Pijush Hazarika launched the BJP campaign in Dhing this week. He addressed a large crowd at the Roumari Hafizia Madrassa during a community joining event. The minister pushed the party agenda hard. He cited the diverse crowd as evidence of the organization's reach and commitment to public welfare.
Hazarika later moved to Kadamoni Bazar to open the main election office for the BJP Dhumdumia Mandal. This move signals the official start of ground operations for the Nagaon Lok Sabha by-election. BJP workers and karyakartas are now prepping for the campaign trail. During the event, Hazarika noted, "The participation of people from different communities reflected the strength of the organisation and its focus on development and public welfare."
The minister urged local residents to back the party as it builds momentum. His team remains focused on local development and welfare issues. The Dhumdumia Mandal office now serves as the primary hub for area operations. The party aims to translate this grassroots energy into votes for the by-election.
