Shillong: Meghalaya officials met in Shillong to fix a digital disconnect. They scrutinized the Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0 and the Integrated Management Information System portal. Data mismatch slows progress. Public Health Engineering Minister Marcuise N. Marak led the session alongside PHE Commissioner Pravin Bakshi and Chief Engineer R S Nongbri.

Engineers and sub-divisional officers from across the state joined the review. They tracked year-wise targets set by the Composite Implementation Reform Plan. The team evaluated schemes marked as 100 percent complete to verify functionality and check field photo uploads. Officials demanded that portal entries align with reality.

The department called for stronger internal coordination. Field workers must close pending tasks faster. During the meeting, officials stated, "Information uploaded to the portal should reflect the actual status of schemes on the ground." Better reporting remains the priority for the mission.
