Lotha Welfare Forum Delhi Honors Top NPSC Achiever Eric Yanthan

Kohima: The Lotha Welfare Forum Delhi hosted a virtual ceremony on Saturday to honor Eric Yanthan. He secured Rank 1 for the Deputy Superintendent of Police post via the Nagaland Public Service Commission. Family members, students, and elders attended the event.

Dr. Chumbemo Khuvung opened the meeting with prayer. Prof. Zuchamo Yanthan spoke for the family, crediting success to hard work and faith. He urged the new officer to serve with integrity. Maternal uncle Dr. Rembemo Odyuo noted Yanthan always possessed a humble and well-mannered character. Prof. Benrithung Murry told the crowd, "True achievement was measured not merely by position but by the quality of service rendered to society."

Representatives from the Lotha Students Union Delhi and the forum offered further congratulations. Dr. Zubenthung Humtsoe presented a token of appreciation. Yanthan holds a Class XII state topper title from Queen Mary Higher Secondary School. He also holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from St Stephen’s College and an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from IIT Mandi.

Yanthan led an interactive session for students preparing for competitive exams. He highlighted consistency and patience as mandatory traits. He thanked his mentors and friends for their support. The event ended with prayers from Pastor Mhabemo Kithan and Evangeline Odyuo Koireng.
