Longleng Health Officials Train on U-Mentor Digital Platform

Kohima: Longleng medical staff gathered Wednesday at the CMO Conference Hall to master the U-Mentor application. This digital tool tracks the Universal Immunization Programme in real time. It offers frontline workers on-the-job mentorship.

DPO for RMNCAH+N Dr. Imtijungshi Aier led the session. Attendees included medical officers, DPMs, DCMs, BPMs, and BACs. He explained the software simplifies supportive supervision and data analysis. Dr. Aier stated, "the U-Mentor application is a digital initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare aimed at strengthening the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) through real-time monitoring and on-the-job mentorship of frontline health workers."

The training emphasized corrective action and better field guidance. Officials also reviewed Routine Immunization microplans. They scrutinized headcount surveys and current program formats to bridge service gaps across district health units. The team aims to streamline data collection and boost local immunization quality.
