Kohima: Nagaland Advisor for CAWD Kudecho Khamo demanded better departmental synergy in Chozuba this Wednesday. Speaking at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, he insisted officials align local growth with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. Chozuba holds a prime spot on the National Highway. Officials must plan for future generations now.
Khamo challenged the staff to introspect on their impact. He wants them to leave a positive "footprint" through their service. The advisor urged a shift toward a servanthood attitude that persists even after personnel transfers. He also wants every department to adopt a village for model projects and start monthly cleanliness drives.
Economic development remains a priority. Khamo encouraged banks to hold financial literacy melas and suggested a local trade fair for farmers, self-help groups, and MSMEs. He highlighted growth potential in the Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Agriculture, and Horticulture sectors. Meanwhile, officials flagged the stalled introduction of a Science stream at GHSS Chozuba, demanding the School Education Department launch it by the next academic year.
The meeting, chaired by EAC Nengpichong Singsit, reviewed ongoing work across sectors like Rural Development, Health, and Public Works. Chozuba Town Council Chairman Sevonyi Keyho welcomed new officers and honored Senior Medical Officer Dr. Lolekhol for his recent district-level Commendation Award.
