The Wokha Village Baptist Church held scripture readings, action songs, and dances. Forty-two students graduated during the ceremony. Thechano Rangthang addressed the parents at the event. She told the crowd, "The importance of bringing up children with God at the centre of their lives."
Rangthang pushed parents to treat the Bible as a parenting guide. She told them to instill godly values early. Parents should study the individual personalities and needs of their children. The church and parents share a duty to lead the next generation in Christian values.
