Itanagar: The Indian Army dropped six portable toilets into the East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. They want better sanitation for remote areas. The Spearhead Gunners, acting under the Spearhead Division, led the effort as part of Operation Sadbhavana. This outreach program focuses on building goodwill and local infrastructure.

Mottum village received three units to serve its residents. The Army also delivered two mobile toilets to the Government Primary School in Sigar. Students and staff there get a hygiene upgrade. One final unit sits at the Mebo playground for public use. It stays ready for anyone passing through.

Circle officers and village leaders attended the handover ceremony. Senior Army officials and school administrators watched the gear arrive. An official statement noted that this work shows the military's dedication to remote living conditions. The Army stated, "Operation Sadbhavana remains an important platform for promoting community welfare, strengthening civil-military cooperation and contributing to the socio-economic progress of the region."
