Kohima: Dimapur police want answers. The Commissionerate of Police is offering a 50,000 rupee reward for information that leads to the arrest of those behind the July 13 IED blast at Khopanullah, Chumoukedima A. The explosion killed one Assam Rifles soldier and left four others wounded.
Authorities are hunting for anyone involved in the plot. The reward covers tips that help identify the bombers, lead to the recovery of weapons or explosives, or expose logistics networks and safe houses. Officials need the public to step up.
Witnesses can call 7085055003 or 7085055011. Both numbers support WhatsApp messages. The police promise total anonymity for anyone who comes forward. Investigators will verify all tips before granting any payout. "The identity of every informant would be kept strictly confidential and protected in accordance with the law," the notice read.
Nagaland Director General of Police Rupin Sharma noted on July 15 that the investigation remains active. No major breaks have surfaced yet. The agency continues to track leads despite the lack of a current breakthrough. Police ask residents to stay alert and report suspicious activity immediately.
