CM Sangma Vows Action at South Garo Hills Outreach Event

Shillong: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma held the CM Connect program at the Rongara ME school playground on Thursday. The event gave locals a chance to tell the state government exactly what they need. Siju-Rongara MLA Rakkam A Sangma and Chokpot MLA Sengchim N Sangma attended the gathering.

Residents from the Rongara C&RD Block aired their grievances. They reported broken roads, damaged school buildings, and a lack of clean drinking water. The Chief Minister ordered local officials to fix these issues fast. He wants results. Sangma told the crowd that while some problems take time to solve, the government will work hard. "Manderangni neng·nikanirangko namatna gita sorkari krenge kamko ka·gen," he promised.

Sangma also handed out supplies to mothers and newborns at the site. These distributions will continue across other parts of the state soon.
