Arunachal Pradesh Braces for Five Days of Storms

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh faces a wet week. The India Meteorological Department issued a five-day forecast predicting rain and thunderstorms across the state starting September 15.

Tuesday brings storms to Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Upper Siang, Siang, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit, Papum Pare, Tirap, and Longding. Weather activity shifts Wednesday to Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Kamle, Tirap, and Longding.

East Kameng, Papum Pare, Changlang, and Tirap should expect rain on Thursday and Friday. The state's Meteorological Centre in Itanagar confirmed these regions face persistent shifts in weather. Saturday concludes the forecast with rain hitting Siang, Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, Papum Pare, and Anjaw. The department warns of "intermittent rain and thunderstorms through the five-day period."
