Kohima: The Loktantrik Janata Dal sent out Diwali wishes to the country on November 8. National President Javed Raza and party office-bearers issued a press release to mark the festival of lights. They hope for health, peace, and prosperity for all Indians.
Raza sees the festival as more than just a celebration. He claims it represents the triumph of truth over falsehood. "Diwali was not merely a festival of lighting lamps and celebrating happiness but also symbolised the victory of light over darkness, truth over falsehood and justice over injustice," Raza stated. He wants citizens to protect harmony and social unity across India.
The party claims the nation draws its power from diversity. Raza pointed to the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and the need for mutual trust. He expects collective work to build a society where every group gains equal dignity and opportunity.
Senior leader Anoop Agarwal shifted the focus to the mythological roots of the holiday. He asked people to remember the return of Lord Shri Ram to Ayodhya. Agarwal also told people to honor the sacrifice and fraternal love of Lord Lakshman. He believes the festival motivates people to stick to their duty and value family bonds.
