Guwahati: Tarabari Police hit the streets to stop illegal betting. Officers launched a crackdown on gambling as Diwali nears. They seized Jandi-Munda equipment from multiple locations during the enforcement drive.
Police recovered gambling materials from spots in Bahari and Chenga. The operation aims to curb illicit games throughout the festive season. Authorities have not yet released details regarding arrests or extra seizures. "Tarabari Police have launched a crackdown on gambling activities during the Diwali festivities," the report stated.
