Kohima: The Ao Youth Organisation Chümoukedima gathered students, local entrepreneurs, and community members at Mount Mary College on July 18. They held a Skill Development Symposium and Seminar to promote youth empowerment. The event kicked off with an invocation by Bendang Imsong. Talisunep Walling, president of ALTC, delivered the welcome address. Suwa Lkr, advisor to ALTC, explained the event goals.
Three technical sessions dominated the day. Medoneizo Putsure, founder and CEO of Bambusa Express and JOME Foods Pvt Ltd, took the stage to talk about digital business. He pushed the audience to adopt new ideas. "Encouraged participants to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship," the AYOC stated.
Er. Imnayangner Imchen, assistant general manager of the Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre, detailed vocational opportunities. He covered Industry 4.0 and AI-based programs. Financial advisor I. Sashi Pongener offered advice on money and jobs. He works for the Business Association of Nagas and the Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd. He hammered home the need for financial discipline.
Each session finished with a question-and-answer period. The crowd got practical answers. The AYOC thanked all resource persons, Mount Mary College, and the volunteers who helped run the event. The organizers plan to keep pushing for skill development and entrepreneurship through future seminars.
