Kohima: The Ao Youth Organisation Chümoukedima held a skill development symposium at Mount Mary College on July 18. Students and local entrepreneurs gathered for the event. The program split into three technical sessions tackling digital business, vocational training, financial management, and self-employment.
Medoneizo Putsure, who runs Bambusa Express and JOME Foods Pvt Ltd, urged attendees to grab hold of innovation. He talked about digital business. Imnayangner Imchen of the Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre mapped out vocational paths. He specifically pointed to opportunities in Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence.
I Sashi Pongener serves as a financial advisor to the Business Association of Nagas and acts as a consultant for the Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd. He focused on the math behind starting a business. He told the room, "Financial discipline and sustainable entrepreneurship" remain vital. Each session included a question-and-answer period for practical guidance.
Bendang Imsong delivered the invocation. ALTC President Talisunep Walling gave the welcome address. Advisor Suwa Lkr explained the goals of the meeting. The AYOC organizers praised the volunteers and participants while promising more events for youth empowerment in the future.
