Kohima: Eighty-three Naga candidates finished free skill training in Dimapur. The Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission, or NSEDM, sponsored the program alongside IDAN and the state government. Instruction took place at the Pinnacle Skills Training Centre in Sovima. Classes prepared students for jobs, self-employment, and running their own businesses.

Ceremonies held on August 29 and September 3, 2026, marked the end of the sessions. Representatives from the NSEDM attended to hand out certificates. The first group wrapped up 40-day courses in mobile repair and electronics or home appliance repair. A second group finished an advanced electrification course spanning 45 days.

The state government push aims to build sustainable livelihoods. Pinnacle Skills officials praised the government partners for their backing during the training. The school issued a brief statement saying, "Pinnacle Skills extended appreciation to NSEDM, IDAN and the Government of Nagaland for their support and congratulated all 83 candidates on their achievement." This effort remains a core part of the mission to create local jobs.
