Ao Senden Issues 30-Day Ultimatum to Nagaland Health Department over IMDH

Kohima: The Ao Senden delivered a 30-day ultimatum to the Principal Director of the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare in Kohima on September 16. The group is demanding an immediate fix to ongoing healthcare failures at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital in Mokokchung. The notice reached the director through the Mokokchung Chief Medical Officer.

Three core demands anchor the organization's ultimatum. They want a radiologist and a dermatologist posted to the hospital right away. They also expect the facility to move into the newly built Block A to stop wasting the infrastructure. Finally, the group wants all attached doctors and nurses returned to their posts at the hospital. The Ao Senden warned that if these steps are ignored, they will handle the matter themselves. "Failure to take necessary action within the stipulated 30-day period would compel the organisation to adopt its own course of action," the group stated.
