Agartala: West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar checked readiness for the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath on Wednesday, July 15. He visited the Jagannath Bari Temple and the local ISKCON site. The DM arrived alongside Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak and Traffic SP Kanta Jangir. They examined the chariot safety, power supply, parade routes, and emergency protocols.

The team reviewed police security and traffic management plans for the massive event. Dr. Vishal Kumar confirmed that temple authorities are cooperating with officials across all departments to keep the festival orderly. Minor issues cropped up during the walk-through. Workers expect to fix these gaps by tonight.

"Some minor loopholes were noticed during the inspection, and they will be resolved by tonight. We are hopeful that the Rath Yatra will be conducted successfully, and all necessary facilities will be provided to the devotees," said Dr. Vishal Kumar. The administration expects a peaceful procession. Officials asked the public to follow safety guidelines and maintain discipline while celebrating.
