Agartala: West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar conducted a field inspection of the Simna Gram Panchayat on Wednesday to evaluate the state of local education and child welfare services. Accompanied by Assistant Collector Mamata and various department officials, the team began their assessments at 8 AM.

The inspection covered several key sites, including the Simna Higher Secondary School and the local Anganwadi Centre. During these visits, Dr. Kumar reviewed classroom infrastructure, student attendance rates, sanitation, and the quality of nutrition programs. He also consulted with teachers, students, and community stakeholders to gather feedback on how government programs are currently functioning on the ground.

Dr. Kumar pushed for higher standards in public services, noting that the administration is focused on improving local outcomes. He stated that the inspection is part of a broader mission: "In a bid to strengthen grassroots governance and ensure effective implementation of government welfare schemes, the District Magistrate and Collector of West Tripura conducted an early morning field visit."

Following the review, the District Magistrate directed officials to resolve identified issues as a priority. He instructed relevant departments to coordinate their efforts to ensure that residents receive the full benefits of state development schemes. The administration maintains that these field visits are essential for fostering responsive governance and improving the quality of life for citizens in the West Tripura region.
