Agartala: West Agartala police handed back 26 stolen mobile phones to their owners on Monday. They finished the verification process before the return. The recovery followed a series of complaints from citizens who lost their devices at various times. Cops used technical assistance to track the gadgets down across the region.
Sadar SDPO Pannalal Sen oversaw the handover at the West Agartala Police Station. He held a press conference to explain how the department traced the missing tech. "He urged people to report lost phones to the police at the earliest and provide all relevant details to facilitate their recovery," according to the official statement. Owners thanked the East Police Station personnel for tracking their property.
