Agartala: The Tripura government has launched a digital platform to monitor schools and track student performance across the state. Inaugurated by School Education Secretary Dr. Milind Dharamrao Ramteke, the system provides a centralized dashboard for district and state authorities to review administrative functions and academic outcomes.

Under the new framework, Block and Cluster Resource Persons will visit schools every fortnight to monitor foundational education for classes I through V. These field observations are submitted directly through the portal, allowing officials to address performance gaps in real time. For students in classes VI through X, Inspectors of Schools will oversee academic supervision and evaluate teaching quality.

The initiative emphasizes Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, which remains a primary focus for the Department of School Education. Teachers will now upload assessment data to the platform to help officials analyze student progress. Regarding the technology-driven rollout, Dr. Ramteke said, "The technology-driven mechanism would help officials access field-level information instantly and facilitate timely intervention wherever shortcomings are identified."

The system was developed under the guidance of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra and covers both primary and secondary institutions. During a recent training workshop, Director of Elementary Education Harshita Biswas urged staff to coordinate effectively to ensure the platform leads to measurable improvements in classroom standards across all eight districts.
