Shillong: Three area families are mourning the loss of their loved ones following deaths on Thursday. Sukphar Hewett Sohliya, father of Dr. B. Ginia Myrthong and a member of the Laban Sports Club, passed away. Friends and family will gather for his funeral on Saturday at the Laban Presbyterian church cemetery in Lawsohtun.
Andrew Tynsong Lyngdoh also died Thursday. He was the son of Augustine Lyngdoh and Helena Tynsong, living in Nongthymmai Dum Dum. His funeral service begins at 1 pm on Friday at his home. The burial follows at the Nongthymmai Presbyterian Church cemetery in Mawblei.
Probin Kurbah, a resident of Sunny Hill Block-III, died Thursday as well. Kurbah was the brother of Robin Kurbah and father to Airihun Blah. His family will hold the last rites at Lum Jingthang, Jaiaw, on Saturday.
