Shillong: Banylla Kharir died Sunday. She worked as a superintendent in the SAD Records department at the Meghalaya Secretariat. She lived in Mawklot, Upper Shillong. Her funeral service is set for 2 PM Wednesday at the Mawklot Presbyterian Church graveyard.
Torun Diengdoh also died Sunday. He lived in Umpling Dong Shaneng, Block II, and was married to Nara Giri Marwein. Family and friends will hold his final rites and funeral service at 4 PM Wednesday at the Jhalupara Electric Crematorium.
