Guwahati: Guwahati police nabbed a Bihar man on suspicion of spying for Pakistan. The Special Task Force took Abhishek Kumar Singh into custody yesterday in the Satgaon area. Singh, a native of East Champaran, Bihar, was living in the city as a tenant. He is facing serious allegations.

Authorities claim he acted as a pipeline for sensitive security data, handing secrets to a Pakistan Intelligence Operative. The STF moved on the arrest after receiving specific intelligence from the Gajraj Sena. Officials are now digging into his digital footprint and past contacts to determine the scope of this breach.

Investigators are currently looking at the nature and reach of his network. They want to know exactly what he sent and who received the files. The state confirmed, "Further details regarding the alleged espionage network, the information allegedly passed on by Singh and whether any other individuals were involved are awaited as the investigation progresses."
