Kohima: The Rüpreo Youth Organization condemned the alleged sexual assault of a woman. The incident occurred on October 17. The woman was traveling from Kohima to Chiephobozou at the time of the attack.
Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Ruokuotuolie Rüpreo, son of Suolahie Rüpreo. The organization demanded law enforcement conduct a prompt investigation. They insisted that authorities ensure justice is neither delayed nor denied.
The group expressed full solidarity with the victim and her family. They reiterated their commitment to the rule of law. "The organisation also expressed solidarity with the victim and the victim’s family and reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the rule of law and the pursuit of justice," the RYO stated.
