Shillong: Ri-Bhoi Police need your help. They discovered a man’s body Tuesday morning along the Umtyrnga-Barapathar road. The discovery happened at approximately 10:30 am.
The man appears to be about 55 years old. He had a thin build and a swarthy complexion. At the time of the discovery, he wore a long-sleeve shirt featuring blue and white stripes paired with blue trousers.
Authorities finished the initial inquiry and legal formalities on site. They moved the remains to the Nongpoh Civil Hospital mortuary. The body stays there pending formal identification by the public or next of kin.
