Itanagar: Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh is hiring two teaching assistants for the Department of Social Work. The university needs qualified candidates to fill these roles for the 2026 academic year. Workers will earn a consolidated salary of 1,000 rupees per class, capped at 40,000 rupees each month.
Applicants must hold a Master of Social Work degree with at least 55 percent aggregate marks. The threshold drops to 50 percent for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. Beyond the degree, applicants must pass the National Eligibility Test held by the UGC. Those holding a Ph.D. degree compliant with 2009 or 2016 University Grants Commission standards are exempt from the NET requirement.
The school is holding a walk-in interview on 31 July 2026. The session begins at 11:30 AM at the Department of Social Work, Rajiv Gandhi University. Candidates should bring their bio-data, which must include details on qualifications, experience, and specialization. Applicants are required to show all original supporting documents during the visit.
