Itanagar: Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh is hunting for a Teaching Assistant to join its Department of Chemistry. The school needs one person for the role. Candidates must have an M.Sc in Chemistry with at least 55 percent marks from an accredited Indian or foreign university. Everyone needs to have cleared the National Eligibility Test, or NET, administered by the UGC or CSIR.
SLET or SET certificates also count. However, the school scraps the test requirement for anyone holding a PhD. The university favors candidates who bring a PhD and prior teaching experience to the table. Monthly pay ranges from 1,000 to 40,000 rupees.
Interested applicants should bring their biodata, including details on specialization and work history, to a walk-in interview. Bring your original documents. The session starts at 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2026. The interview takes place in the office chamber of the Head, Department of Chemistry at RGU. As the school notes in the official recruitment notice, "Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in Rajiv Gandhi University Arunachal Pradesh in 2026."
