Kohima: Pinnacle Skills opened its new training centre at TCP Gate in Kohima on June 26. The facility aims to fix the skills gap and push sustainable jobs for Nagaland youth. Pastor Neikepezo Shüya opened the event with a prayer. Zubemo Tsanglao, from the Department of Employment, Skills Development & Entrepreneurship, cut the ribbon to start the operations.
Tsanglao told the crowd that the state has too many government workers and needs more practical training. He urged students to aim for work abroad by learning new languages. He noted that "skills combined with language proficiency significantly enhance career prospects" for young people entering the market.
CEO Dr. Yan Murry pointed out that his organization is the first in Nagaland with National Skill Development Corporation certification. He told students to respect their credentials. Murry also pushed for community work like tree planting. Ajung Thonger closed the event by thanking those who attended.
