Don Bosco College Honors Class of 2026

Shillong: Don Bosco College, Byndihati, marked Graduation Day 2026 this Friday. The event celebrated the academic milestones of the outgoing class. An academic procession kicked off the day, followed by the lighting of a ceremonial lamp.

Principal Father Dr. Daniel DM Cajee opened the proceedings. Rajya Sabha member James Sangma served as the chief guest. He urged the new graduates to take on new hurdles with grit. Sangma told the crowd, "Embrace new challenges with confidence and urge them to contribute meaningfully to the progress of society."

College officials and guests joined the stage. Professor Ghanashyam Bez, Director of the College Development Council at NEHU, attended as guest of honour. Father Jeevan Kishore Lakra, Vice Provincial of the Salesian Province of Shillong, served as special guest.

Faculty conferred certificates to the Class of 2026. The school also handed out Academic Excellence Awards to top performers. The day included a choir performance and local cultural dances.
