Kohima: Norman Putsure College marked a milestone for the Class of 2026. The institution hosted its graduation ceremony on August 22 at the campus auditorium in Chümoukedima. Families, faculty, alumni, and students filled the room. Prof. Dr. Zavise Rume, Director of Vocational Studies at International University, Nagaland, attended as the chief guest.
Dr. Rume spoke to the graduates about the road ahead. He told the students to embrace "education, perseverance, and responsibility as students transition to the next phase of their lives." The ceremony opened with an invocation from sociology professor Lorence Ngushe. Managing Director Saneinuo Putsure delivered the welcome address while Limayala Changkilari chaired the event.
Vizono Khesoh, who led the graduation committee, presented the awards and certificates to the students. History professor Kaikho Loli honored the parents for their sacrifices. Faculty member Nungsangmongla Ozukum spoke on behalf of the staff. Kenitsino Chase gave the valedictory address for the graduating class, and the Normanians performed a musical ensemble.
The event finished with a vote of thanks from committee member Avani Ngullie. Sociology professor Vilbonu Kulnu offered the final benediction.
