Kohima: The District Treasury Officer in Phek has set the annual physical verification schedule for all pensioners drawing from the local treasury. The process runs from October 5 to October 8. Staff will process attendees between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day. This mandate follows CTR 368 requirements. Pensioners who miss the window will see their monthly payments cut off.
Some retirees avoid the trek to the office. Those who have successfully mapped their details from Jeevan Pramaan to the Pension Payment application and generated a Digital Life Certificate are exempt. Bedridden, paralyzed, disabled, or mentally challenged pensioners qualify for video-based verification. Senior Treasury Officer Inashe Sema stated, "Pensioner may collect verification form during office hour from September 21."
Bring the right paperwork. Applicants must provide one recent passport-sized photo and a photocopy of their Aadhaar card. Pick up the necessary verification forms starting September 21 at the office. Ensure you comply to keep your benefits flowing.
