Kohima: The District Treasury Office in Chümoukedima is forcing a hard deadline for annual physical verification. All pensioners and family pensioners must report to the office between September 21 and September 24, 2026.
Check your file number. Strict schedules apply. On September 21, life pension files L 1 to L 100 report from 10 am to 12 pm, while files L 101 to L 200 arrive between 1 pm and 3 pm. Family pension files F 1 to F 100 are also due that day.
September 22 covers life pension files L 201 to L 300 from 10 am to 12 pm, and L 301 to L 400 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Family pension files F 101 to F 200 follow. The next day, September 23, includes life pension files L 401 to L 500 for the morning shift and L 501 to L 600 for the afternoon. Family pension files F 201 and above also appear on the 23rd.
The final day, September 24, handles life pension files L 601 to L 700 between 10 am and 12 pm. Remaining files, L 701 and above, must arrive between 1 pm and 3 pm. Treasury Officer Imkongakum Jamir issued a direct order regarding these deadlines. He urged all pensioners to "strictly comply with the schedules."
