Kohima: The Chümoukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association thanked Dimapur Police Commissioner Aotula T. Imchen for installing CCTV cameras in three prime spots around town. Business leaders claim the network makes travelers feel safer. Public confidence is up.

The cameras now monitor high traffic areas. Authorities expect quicker response times to incidents while maintaining order. The association released a statement praising the police leadership for this proactive push against crime.

"The new CCTV network has enhanced the sense of safety and confidence among travellers and citizens in public places."

CCC&TA officials also credited Nagaland DGP Rupin Sharma and his department for their ongoing service across the state. They want to see the project expanded over time. Both the police and the business community plan to keep working together to lock down the town.
