Kohima: PenThrill Publication marked a new milestone on June 19 with the release of its 122nd title, a poetry collection titled I Think to Myself by Naga writer Menang Longkumer. The launch event took place at The Book Home on Billy Graham Road in Kohima and was hosted by Angel Raikhan.

Renowned author and poet Avinuo Kire provided special remarks during the ceremony. She praised the work for its accessibility and depth, describing the collection as “simple, straightforward and profound.” Kire noted that the poems effectively blend vulnerability with whimsy, offering readers a lens through which to view nature and everyday life.

PenThrill founder Rita Krocha spoke about the publisher's history with Longkumer, who previously contributed to The StoryKeeper Book of Mothers and published his debut work with the firm earlier this year. Krocha highlighted the writer's grounded nature and reflective writing style. The new book features a foreword written by acclaimed poet Emisenla Jamir.

In his own remarks, Longkumer explained that the poems grew out of quiet moments of self-questioning. He views the collection as an invitation for readers to pause and engage with their own memories and uncertainties. By drawing on ancestral narratives and personal nostalgia, the author explores the complex process of finding meaning in a changing world.
