Kohima: Seven members left the NSCN (I-M) to join the ranks of the NSCN/GPRN-K (Niki). The group arrived in Dimapur to switch sides. They seek a different path.
The defectors from the Angami Region include Under Secretary Keneilhoutuo Belho and razou peyu Avonuo Sogotsu. The group also features leacys Petekhrielie Saschii, Zakamvu, Kikrupa, Lily, and Khriesavilie Kelelie.
The MIP of the NSCN/GPRN-K (Niki) issued a press release confirming the move. The organization praised the new arrivals. The group stated their arrival was "purely due to their commitment and belief in the political ideology of NSCN/GPRN-K (Niki) and to further strengthen the cause of Naga Sovereignty."
