Kohima: A new Indian Oil Corporation Limited outlet, Laiket Lembou Oil Pump, opened in Tuensang on September 7. N Kaimang, president of the Tuensang Village Citizens’ Union, cut the ribbon to mark the official start of operations. Local leaders gathered to celebrate the addition of this fuel source to the district.
Proprietor C Bendang Chang thanked village, ward, church, and organizational leaders for their help. He told residents to stay safe and watch out for hazards. C Khel, Tuensang Village chairman, said the region suffered from a fuel shortage for years. He called the station a major step forward for convenience. M K Yangbou noted the facility helps people living outside the town center. He tasked the Laiket Lembou Union with keeping the station running.
Laiket Lembou president S Chaba spoke about the local community. The colony "consists of only 65 households but with residents and non-residents with different temperaments." He asked the provider to report any trouble quickly. Chaba wants everyone to cooperate to help the business grow.
Noksen Sangla R, associate pastor of youth at Jujam Baptist Lashong, led the invocation. Associate pastor of women C Alem performed the dedication prayer.
