Kohima: The Nagaland Science Mission is hunting for homegrown solutions. The state agency just opened a call for research and development proposals aimed at fixing specific problems across the region. They want Naga scientists, engineers, and technologists to step up.
Applicants must work at a registered society, university, or academic institution with the right gear to get the job done. The mission prioritizes projects that turn science and technology into actual products. Technical merit drives the selection process. A committee will judge every project based on its detailed report. As the official notice states, the "Committee’s decision will be final."
Expect strict limits. The state will fund lab consumables and small equipment for a maximum of two years. If you want to apply, grab the forms from the NSM office in Kohima or hit them up at NSM.nagaland@gmail.com. Send your signed paperwork, certificates, and institutional endorsements to the Mission Director by July 31, 2026.
